Approach
Welcome to the Humanoids front-end crash course!
We are delighted that you're on board with us to learn how to make great digital products. Front-end development is a very broad job-field and requires an extensive skillset. The goal of the crash course is to go through the most important skills you need to become a front-end developer and enter the job market. We do this by building a front-end application called TaskFlow.
This guide will form the backbone during the crash course. It covers fundamental topics of front-end development, carefully chosen by Robbin and the other developers at Humanoids. The goal is to be able to create a front-end application from scratch. During the crash course, we also teach you more about other relevant topics such as Scrum methodology, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and deploying your application.
The guide is not intended to teach you about all the different possibilities and features of the topics we discuss. Neither is it a tutorial that helps you to build the application step by step. The guide is quite literally a syllabus that introduces you to every subject you need to understand when creating your application. It does so in a logical order from a development point of view.
