Objectives
Being pro-active and taking ownership are key principles at Humanoids. We believe these accelerate your professional growth tremendously. That's why we've defined some objectives for you to accomplish during the crash course. Some are returning, where others are just one-off. You should keep them in mind to make sure to have them all completed by the end of the crash course.
Further reading
Most pages of the guide will be extended with a "Further reading" section. This section is a collection of links to high-quality content. Take a look at "Developing for web > Working with HTML" to see an example of this. These are helpful as a reference or to deepen your knowledge about the topic. References could be anything: official documentation, websites, blog posts, code examples, videos or book passages. You should not need these references to successfully complete the tickets, so treat them as bonus material!
Repository
This guide is created using the open source Docusaurus framework. The source can be found in the curriculum
repository under the humanoids
organization. Update the content in a new branch, and create a pull request for your changes. Make sure to align the proposed changes with other trainees first.
Errors
It may occur that the guide contains an error. This could be caused by a newly released version of something we're using, but it could just as well be a human error. Make sure to report the error in any case to one of the coaches. Do you know how to resolve it? Update the relevant content and make a pull request (PR).
Missing information
You might feel that some important information is missing. While this could be intentionally, suggestions are always welcome. Discuss it with one of the teachers and it might be incorporated in the crash course accordingly.
