Figma
Figma is a collaboration tool for UX/UI designers and front-end developers. During the Humanoids crash course we'll be working on a project design derived from Figma.
Usually UX/UI designers are permitted to adjust the design, whereas developers can view the designs and specifications to use for their code. For you as a developer, it is important to realize that those specifications should not be taken literally, as your application usually is build differently. So don't groundlessly copy its specs for use in your code.
You can get the Figma homebrew formulae here or download the desktop app on the website. You will be invited to the proper workspaces through your Humanoids email account.
Dev Mode
In 2023, Figma released "Dev Mode". This handy feature facilitates a streamlined collaboration between developers and designers. It makes it very easy to find the details you as a developer need to start building components, so take advantage of it!
