What kind of project are you doing now?

I am working for the Central Government Real Estate Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) on various projects and real estate portals, focusing on developing user-friendly interfaces and API integrations.

What's most interesting about this?

The most interesting aspect is working with complex portals that integrate different source systems. I am involved in GIS applications, real estate geometry, and map integrations, which create a challenging and educational environment. The combination of technology and real estate offers unique opportunities for innovation.

What do you bring to a team?

I started as a front-end developer for "digital real estate" and have been working on this project from the beginning, with a focus on map and GIS integration. Currently, I am also involved in the Central Government Real Estate Portal, where I work both on front-end and back-end development. I bring technical skills, creative thinking and a team-oriented attitude, which helps make projects successful.

What tip would you like to give to someone who is just starting out?

My advice is to tackle challenging problems, as this is the best way to improve your skills. Seize every opportunity to learn and develop yourself, even if it is outside your comfort zone.

Can you name a business situation or event that greatly benefited you?

Working for the government often involves bureaucratic obstacles. As an external employee, I have learned to stand up for my team and myself. This experience has helped me deal more effectively with complex situations and improve my communication skills.

Can you tell us something about your growth as a specialist in recent years?

Two years ago, I had no experience with map applications or GIS systems. Since then, I have developed into a specialist within my team, gaining both technical skills and a deep understanding of the application of GIS in real estate.

What do you like so much about this sector?

The continuous developments within web development ensure that you never stop learning. There are always new challenges and opportunities for improvement, making the work dynamic and stimulating.

What are you most proud of since joining Humanoids?

I am most proud of the growth and development I have achieved in a short period. The opportunities I have had to improve my skills and expand my role have enabled me to make a valuable contribution to the projects I have worked on.
